Arsenal to Raise Funds for Netho and Others This Summer

According to reports from English media outlet talkSPORT, Arsenal is looking to strengthen their striker, winger, and midfield positions in the summer transfer window and may sell players such as Torreira and Nketiah to raise funds.

Reportedly, Arsenal aims to sell some players in the upcoming transfer window to raise funds, with a striker, winger, and midfielder considered key targets for the Gunners' summer signings. Wolverhampton Wanderers' Pedro Neto is said to be the primary target for the wing position. In February, talkSPORT reported that Wolves would not stand in Neto's way if he wanted to leave in the summer, and Arsenal are admirers of him.

In other positions, Real Sociedad midfielder Zubimendi is considered a potential partner for Declan Rice, with the 25-year-old Zubimendi having a release clause of £51.3 million.

Although Arsenal admire Newcastle striker Isaac, the Magpies are unlikely to sell him. RB Leipzig's Szoboszlai and Sporting Lisbon's Jovane are also under consideration, but due to Szoboszlai being five years younger and having a release clause of £42.8 million, he may be seen as the ideal choice.

The report indicates that to comply with financial regulations, some fringe players at Arsenal will have to leave. Forward Nketiah, who ranks behind Havertz and Jesus in the pecking order, is reportedly of interest to Crystal Palace, with Arsenal possibly demanding £30 million for him.

Additionally, Ramsdale could leave, with Arsenal hoping to keep loanee Laia from Brentford. The futures of academy players Smith-Rowe and Nelson are uncertain, and Torreira may also depart. Torreira, who joined Arsenal from Brighton in January last year, has already scored 14 goals this season, second only to Saka in the squad.
