HollyHock report no injuries. Hiroyuki Mae is suspended for two matches after reaching eight yellow cards for the season.

Zelvia still miss Noboru Shimura and now have Romero Frank out for a month with a rib injury.

HollyHock beat Kashiwa Reysol 3-2 last weekend in J2 to blow the top of the J2 table wide open again. The away win came on goals from Yuji Kimura, Takuma Hamasaki and Shintaro Shimizu. This win opened up the top of the table to teams in the top six, and showed that Reysol are not going to be guaranteed to come top. The win brought HollyHock into 5th place, just four points from 2nd place, despite a run that has seen them win just two of their last five league games. The win will boost the confidence of this team as they were perhaps feeling their chance was slipping after two defeats running.

Zelvia were held to a 0-0 home draw by Kagoshima United last weekend in J2. They have just one victory in 16 league games and have earned just 10 points from the 48 available in that time. While a 0-0 draw against a team in the bottom three – at home – would not normally be acceptable, it ensured that Kagoshima did not get closer to Zelvia and the Machida team are four points clear of Kagoshima in 20th and five points from Tochigi in 21st.

HollyHock's momentum after last week and their motivation to stay in the top six, or even reach the top two will be immense. Home advantage too, and basically a much better squad should see an easy win for HollyHock.

While HollyHock have managed six home clean sheets this season, they don't tend to score too many goals either, concentrating on an excellent defence to win them games. With 32 goals conceded they have the 3rd-best defence in J2 and can probably keep a clean sheet in this one. Zelvia have failed to score in four of their last five matches and have scored just 16 goals away all season. I expect a clean sheet for HollyHock in this one and therefore they will, logically be the first team to score!

In J2 matches between these two teams last season Zelvia won away and drew at home, while earlier in 2019 HollyHock won 2-0 away from home in the league.
