Internacional still have four players in their medical department, and that includes defensive midfielder Rodrigo Dourado and center back Rodrigo Moledo.

As for Vasco da Gama, this round they count with defensive midfielder Fellipe Bastos coming back from suspension, but winger Talles Magno will miss the next month as he’s with Brazil U17.

This hasn’t been a very good month for Internacional. The team was fighting for the title until a few weeks ago, after a terrible sequence of five winless matches, they are still in the Top-6 but saw their main rivals Gremio coming from behind in the standings, which puts a lot of pressure over the team.

Now, they have recovered their place inside the G6 after ending the winless run with a 2-0 away win last round against Avai – who are almost relegated to next year’s second division – while still looking for a new coach with an interim in charge of the team – that will probably continue until next year and have a negative effect on the squad.

With Vasco da Gama coming from a 2-1 home win in the derby against Botafogo, Internacional face a team with one of the worst offensive numbers in the Brasileiro and without their main forward for this match, and that will definitely be a huge problem for the visitors and help Internacional keep a clean sheet on their way to a home win.

The last five matches Internacional played ended with two or less goals, and that’s because they have a fairly solid defense and a poor attack, having conceded 23 times and scored 31 goals, and against a team that scored only 24 times, that should happen again, meaning we will have a low score game.

We saw both sides score in the last three times they clashed, with one win for each team and a draw.
