England government hopes Premier League restart

 

DCMS, representatives of Public Health England and executives from Britain’s biggest sports, including the Premier League will hold a meeting on this Friday and discuss how to safely resume sports.

 

The league hopes that Premier League will restart on June 8 and finish before August, such date is in order to European games plan of UEFA which mean that players of Premier League will overall training from May 18.

 

Oliver Dowden said“I personally have been in talks with the Premier League with a view to getting football up and running as soon as possible in order to support the whole football community,” “But, of course, any such moves would have to be consistent with public health guidance.”
