Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazi is the only injury concern for the home side. Grady Diangana scored twice as a substitute at the weekend and should start here.

Reading will once again be without left-backs Tyler Blackett and Jordan Obita.

West Bromwich welcome Reading to The Hawthorns off the back of a 2-1 away win against newly-promoted Luton. The hosts sit fourth in the Championship heading into gameweek four and are unbeaten in their last seven home league matches. Slaven Bilic’s side managed 24 shots against Luton at the weekend but found the target just twice and needed two goals from substitute Grady Diangana to secure the victory. The hosts will need to be more clinical here.

Reading are winless in their last six away matches but will be confident as they travel to The Hawthorns off the back of a dominant 3-0 home win against a talented Cardiff side. Jose Gomes’ men could have scored five if George Puscas scored his one-on-one and Yakou Meite converted his penalty. Confidence is sky high after that result but I’ll need to see consistent results before backing this youthful Reading side.

Slaven Bilic has enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season with West Bromwich and the hosts should have superior quality on Wednesday night.

Two of West Bromwich’s three Championship matches so far have produced three or more goals while all of Reading’s league matches have met that fate. The away side have looked suspect at the back but impressive going forward so expect a goal-fest here.

These two sides played out a 0-0 draw in late April this year after West Bromwich rioted to a 4-1 win at the Hawthorns back in October.
