AS Monaco: Still undefeated under Moreno ( Recent Form: D L W W D )

Under the new trainer Roberto Moreno, AS Monaco also failed to lose in the second game. At the start of this year, Stade Reims won 2-1 in the 1 / 32nd finals of the Coupe de France and last Sunday the Monegasken stunted PSG with a draw. Within fifteen minutes, the Moreno team were in a 2-1 lead after a 1-0 deficit, but at half time the Monegasken were 3-2 behind. Substitute Islam Slimani determined the final score in the final phase with his seventh goal of the season at 3-3, as a result of which the Monegasken can now be found in the shared seventh place and if there is a win in Paris from the Parisians the top three even comes in sight for the Monegasken. Wissam Ben Yedder was again the big man on the side of l'ASM against PSG. The French attacker was involved in both goals of his team with an assist and a hit in the opening phase and is already at fourteen goals in the Ligue 1 this season. On average Ben Yedder scores once every 98 minutes this season, while he has never finished a season at the highest season with an average of less than 157 minutes per goal. With four assists, the attacker also shows that he has an eye for his teammates, but given that Moreno opts for a 4-3-3 system, the Frenchman seems to be mainly used as a finisher in the coming period.

Paris Saint-Germain: Many exciting games ( Recent Form: W W W W D )

In the first two games of 2020, the Parisians managed to impress with two big victories, but in the draw against AS Monaco last weekend, one of the weaknesses of Thomas Tuchel's team also emerged. There are currently running in Paris with Angel Di Maria, Kylian Mbappé, Mauro Icardi and Neymar Jr. four players around who were all involved in at least eleven goals this season and have managed to secure a place in the base so far. That also means that the other six field players have extra defensive tasks, but against AS Monaco the defense of the Parisians was played occasionally from the box to the wall. It would therefore not be illogical to opt for a 4-3-3 system in this type of competition, but which attacker would Tuchel have to change? Angel Di Maria is often the star at PSG this season and the Argentinian with eight assists is actually indispensable for the rest of the vanguard. Also Mbappé and Neymar Jr. don't seem to end up in the bank quickly, given the huge amounts that have been paid to them and the fact that they were both responsible for at least ten hits and four assists this season. Then only Icardi remains and it could well be that the Argentinian striker starts on the bench in Monaco. On Sunday, he was hardly in the game against the Monegasques, so it would not be illogical if he was passed before this match.

THE BETTING VERDICT:

After all, PSG and AS Monaco are the most scoring teams in the Ligue 1 this season with a total of eighty goals in 38 games, or an average of 2.1 goals per game. Because for both teams the defense is clearly the weakest link and the mutual match ended last weekend in 3-3, it is obvious that the necessary hits will fall again in this match. Six of the nine games in the Stade Louis II ended with at least four goals, so I think the score for at least four goals.
