Jahn Regensburg will get Benedikt Gimber back from suspension after the midfielder missed his club’s 1-1 at St. Pauli. Keeper Alexander Meyer returned to team training last week. Central defender Marcel Correia was forced from the first half of the match with a neck injury.

Goalkeeper Martin Mannel suffered a shoulder injury earlier in the week and missed Aue’s 2-1 win over Hannover. Midfielder Louis Samson will return from suspension.

Jahn Regensburg

Jahn Regensburg exchanged first-half goals with host St. Pauli to take a point away from a 1-1 match that was largely played in the midfield. Whether it was the fact that his club had already achieved safety or the effects of a long road trip at the end of an English week, Mersad Selimbegovic’s squad made very passive guests, managing just eight shots in Hamburg.

Aue’s 2-1 win over Hannover Sunday was their eleventh, the most home victories in the 2. Bundesliga in club history. Dirk Schuster’s club patiently played for the counterattack against their visitors, keeping Hannover from creating quality scoring chances while building a lead through goals in the 23rd and 67th minutes. Aue doubled-down on defense when Hannover pulled one back in the 79th minute.

Aue’s historic home season has had little influence on their form on the road, where they’ve taken just eight points from 16 matches, fewest in the league. Jahn Regensburg have won their last two at home and are unbeaten in four on their home turf. Go with the home side.

Jahn Regensburg’s last four home matches have each seen at least three goals. Three of Aue’s last four away matches have seen at least three goals.

Aue has won five of their last seven meetings with Jahn Regensburg, including last December’s 1-0 home victory.
