Fagiano's list of six injured players is unchanged.

Zelvia miss  Noboru Shimura and Naoki Otani to injury, Babunski is back in training, though he is not yet expected to be fully fit. Consider him still doubtful.

Fagiano bounced back from a recent dismal run to win 3-0 away at Albirex Niigata last weekend in J2. Hayato Nakama, Hiroki Yamamoto and Lee Yong-jae scored the goals. The win ended their surprise run of three league defeats after a run of  just one loss in 11 league games. They were heading for a play-off spot and then dropped nine points. They will be relieved to back on the winning track and with six of their next seven league matches against teams outside the top 10 they should be looking at getting into the top six with three or four wins in there. Lee Yong-jae is the division's top scorer with 17 goals but plenty of other Fagiano players help out and they should expect more goals in the coming games.

Zelvia gained a point in a 0-0 away draw at Tochigi SC last weekend in J2. It was just their second draw – and their second point – in eight league matches – 22 points dropped in that time as they slipped to 20th place and find themselves just three points above the bottom two and a relegation place. They have a very difficult run coming up, too, with three of the top four teams coming up in their next five league games. I strongly suspect they may be getting just three more points, at most, from the next 15 available and they will be in danger of slipping into the bottom two.

Fagiano ended their slump, while Zelvia are in a long one. It's a home win for me.

With Fagiano being the first team to score in 50% of their matches – 14 times – and having home advantage after a big win last week ended their losing run, I see an early start for the home team and probably even a clean sheet.

In J2 matches between these two teams last season Fagiano won both games, while earlier in 2019 we saw a 1-1 draw at Machida.
